Golden Pages continues making acquisitions

The firm has bought wedding and vacation websites.

Dapei Zahav Ltd. (Golden Pages) is continuing its acquisitions campaign under its new owners. The company has acquired 80% of Mitchatnim (“getting married”) at a company value of NIS 20 million. Sources inform ''Globes'' that the company has also acquired 50.1% of tourism services portal Weekend for several million shekels.

These are the first two acquisitions by Dapei Zahav since Babcock & Brown Capital Ltd. (ASX: BNB) of Australia acquired full ownership of the company from Markstone Capital Partners Group LLC (which previously owned 75% of the company) and a group of Israeli institutional investors for $123 million two months ago.

Mitchatnim publishes a wedding catalogue, and its owner and CEO, Bentzi Gispan, will continue to own 20% of the website and run it. Gispan founded the company in 1994 and established the website in 2000. The portal provides wedding services and advice, a members club, and innovative IP television channel.

Weekend was founded in 1998. The website provides information about tourism services, including bed & breakfasts, spas, tourist attractions, and so on.
