Wertheim sells part of new Keshet stake

The shares were bought from the Saban Group.

Lemelbaum Group owner Haya Lemelbaum has acquired 15% of the shares in Channel Two franchisee Keshet Communication Ltd. held by Moshe (Mozi) Wertheim. Lemelbaum is the founder of the Keshet-owned music site Mooma.

Wertheim acquired 28% of the shares held in Keshet by Saban Capital Group Inc., but was ordered by the Second Broadcasting Authority Council to sell part of this to reduce his stake in Keshet from 67% to the mandated 51%.

A spokesperson for the Lemelbaum Group confirmed the report.,
