Hutchison wants bids for the wireless carrier by July 8.
Hutchison Telecommunications International Ltd. (NYSE: HTX; HKSE: 2332) today announced that it was asking parties interested in acquiring Israeli wireless carrier Partner Communications Co. Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE:PTNR; LSE:PCCD) to submit bids by July 8. The company will then decide with whom to conduct negotiations.
Parties interested in Partner include Eurocom Communications Ltd., First Israel Mezzanine Investors Fund (FIMI), Ilan Ben-Dov, the Rohn Fund, and Providence Fund, which may join one of the bidding consortia. Israeli institutional investors Migdal Insurance and Financial Holdings Ltd. (TASE:MGDL) and Bank Leumi (TASE:LUMI) subsidiary Leumi & Partners are also interested.
Hutchison’s timetable calls for the sale of Partner to be completed soon.
