Teva tops Haiti donations

350 companies have donated $146.8 million altogether to the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

A "CNN" report lists Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) as the largest corporate donor to the victims of last month's earthquake in Haiti, topping the list of eight biggest corporate donors. Teva has donated $7 million in antibiotics, pain relievers, and treatments for anxiety and depression. Teva employees in the US also collected $100,000 in donations.

According to "CNN", 350 companies donated $146.8 million altogether to the victims of the earthquake. After Teva, the largest donors are Jeffries & Co. Inc. (NYSE: JEF), Becton, Dickinson and Co. (NYSE: BDX), Digicel Group, Abbot Laboratories Inc. (NYSE: ABT), Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE: DT; XETRA: DTEG), and General Electric Company (NYSE: GE).
