Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan told Niv Raskin on IDF Radio (Galei Zahal) this morning that he will vote against the shutdown of Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan) in the cabinet. At the same time, Erdan, who as the then-minister of communications had signed the initiative to dismantle the Israel Broadcasting Authority and establish Kan, added that he has not yet decided how he would vote in the Knesset if the cabinet approves the Broadcasting Corporation's shutdown.
