The latest survey by the Government Assessor found that average prices rose 1.1% in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Prices of Israeli apartments are continuing to rise, according to the latest survey by the Government Assessor, released today. The survey found that average prices of apartments rose 1.1% in the fourth quarter of 2014, and that there was a large rise in the number of home sales compared with the third quarter. The survey also found that average home prices rose 5% in 2014.

The survey, which covers a sample of 4,000 deals in 16 main Israeli cities in the fourth quarter of 2014, found that prices fell slightly in Jerusalem, Holon and Petah Tikva. On the other hand, prices rose by 3%-5% on average in Rishon Lezion, Beersheva, Herzliya and Haifa.

However, in all of 2014, price rises stood out in Jerusalem, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beersheva, Netanya, and Rishon Lezion.

The inventory of unsold new apartments was 26,890 at the end of October 2014.
