The small caliber ammunition division of Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI) has won a NIS 100 million (€22.5 million) multi-year tender to supply ammunition to the Spanish army. According to the announcement by the Spanish Ministry of Defense, the contract with IMI is for four years, with a two-year extension option. Under the agreement, IMI will sell 5.56 mm assault rifle bullets to Spain.
