The Ministry of National Infrastructures, Energy, and Water Resources director-general Shaul Meridor told "Bloomberg" today that he believes that gas from Israel to Turkey could begin flowing as early as 2019. He said that any agreement with the Turks will include a mechanism to protect the flow of gas from another crisis in relations. “For banks to eventually finance such a project they will have to know that no matter what happens between the countries politically, the business side will be protected,” Meridor said.
