The car sensor and mapping developer plans expanding its work force from 660 to 4,000 by building a new campus.
In the wake of its $15.3 billion acquisition by Intel Corp., car sensor and mapping developer Mobileye (NYSE: MBLY) plans building a new Jerusalem headquarters near its current offices in Har Hotzvim. The planned 45,000 square meter campus will serve as the headquarters for Mobileye and Intel's global autonomous driving organization.
Earlier this week, Mobileye unveiled details of the plans which include a 30-floor central tower, as well as an eight-floor building and 4-floor underground car park. The plans will be submitted tomorrow to the Jerusalem Planning and building Committee for approval.
Mobileye currently has 660 employees and the new headquarters will enable it to expand its work force to 4,000.
