The latest list contains names of well-known Israeli companies.
The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) has released another long list of names contained in the Panama Papers including hundreds of Israelis holding Panama accounts. Panama is considered a paradise for business operations because of its low tax regime and the leak of papers last month about accounts held there continues to make waves.
The latest list contains many well-known businesspeople and political personalities including prominent Israeli companies.
After the initial publication of the Panama Papers, Israel Tax Authority head Moshe Asher said that his authority would go over the names and cross reference them with the tax reports made by the companies and individuals involved.
