UK carrier Virgin Atlantic, which launches daily flights between Tel Aviv and London Heathrow on September 25, has today published fares. Prices are certainly not cheap. Fare in the Economy Delight class start at $790 return and include a more spacious seat, up to 23 kilograms baggage in the hold, preferred check-in and more.

British Airways charge $730 return for these dates including baggage in the hold and a meal.
Virgin Atlantic will operate the flights on an Airbus A330-300 and will offer connect flights from Heathrow to North America including New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Seattle, some of the flights with its US partner Delta.
In addition to these three legacy airlines flying to Heathrow, Israeli tourists have options to other London airports.
